Wing Back and Captain, 26. “Scouse”. Sixth season – key member of the squad enjoying many cup and League successes. Was immense as Captain last season and continues to lead by example. Hard working full back.

Goalkeeper, 19. Third season at the Club. Young ‘keeper who shows tremendous potential and has quickly established himself as United’s Number 1.

Defender 20. Joined United from Biggleswade Town midway through last season and quickly became a favourite with supporters with his lightening pace, coming deep from defence to join attack.

Defender, 20. “Jonesy”. Joined at the start of last season from Stevenage Borough Academy – outstanding first season at senior level. Won Players’ Player, Young Player and Supporter's Player of the year 07/08. Great maturity for the game.

Wing Back, 19. Potentially the find of last season who came to the squad late. Put In some outstanding performances in the final games of last season. Skilful and energetic.

Wing back, 32. Experienced left sided player who joined at the start of the season and has already impressed pre-season with his no nonsense style of play and deft left foot. Assures us he takes no prisoners! Has previously played at Bedford Town and Wootton Blue Cross.

Midfield, 21. “Dray”. Another regular last term who is quickly becoming a favourite amongst the United faithful. Strong player who links well with both defence and front line.

Midfield, 28. “Jacko”. Now regarded as a United stalwart who spent last season under the surgeon’s knife but keen to get back and resume his position as one of United’s best and most consistent players of the past ten years. Highly respected player who is sadly temporarily unable to commit to Saturdays due to work commitments.

Midfield, 25. Marvellous “Marv”. Fifth season and like Scouse has made a tremendous contribution in United’s League and cup successes. Master playmaker in the midfield engine room.

Midfield, 26. “Kaney”. Another who has returned after having spent last season out through injury. A box to box midfield player who chips in with his fair share of goals. Good to have him back in the fold.

Midfield, 19. “Jase”. Second season at United. Was Captain of Beds FA U18s squad who won the National Championships. Tenacious midfielder, always gives 110%.

Midfield 21. Recent signing from Biggleswade Town who will be looking to show the United supporters what he can add to the squad. Impressed on his debut .

Striker, 23. Another newcomer last season who will be looking to consolidate on last year’s performances.

Midfield, 21. “Links”. Second season. Regular feature last term and on the evidence of pre-season performances looks set to bag a few goals this season. Strong, tricky wide player.

Striker, 29. “Slacky”. Vastly experienced player who won the equivalent of the FA Cup while living in New Zealand. Another who spent last season out through injury but thankfully back to bring his skill and footballing knowledge to the side.

Striker, 20. “Minty”. Joined United mid season last term and put in some good performances culminating in the winning goal to secure the Hunts Premier Cup. Young player who is showing progress in every game he plays. Will be looking to make the number 9 shirt his own.

Striker, 22. “Mano”. New signing who has produced some excellent performances pre-season. He may appear small for a centre forward but packs a bundle of power and very skillful.

Midfield 19, “Sammy”. Another player who enjoyed national recognition for his success at Under 18 level for Bedfordshire. Strong utility player who United wish was available every week but University keeps him away during term time.

Midfield, 21. Has had an exceptional pre-season and could be the player to take up the goalscoring mantle and individuality of United favourite Robbie O’Dell. So let’s see if he can keep a cool head and step up to the mark.

Striker, 31. Highly experienced goal scorer who is well known and respected on the local football scene. To prove his goal scoring prowess opened opened his tally on his debut against Brimsdown Rovers.

Midfield 20. Second season. Nippy player who can play on either wing. Scored his first of the season against Desborough in the FA Vase
